This easy to read book covers the early settlement of Osgoode Village (from 1830 on), provides detailed information on the Bytown & Prescott Railway, Rideau River corridor, and industries that helped to put the village on the map. In addition, it includes information regarding the historic homes in the village as well as a collection of very valuable oral histories collected from older residents and former residents of the village.
