Welcome to the Kingdom of Osgoode Medieval Festival

Each year, over the second weekend in July, Osgoode Village is transformed into the Kingdom of Osgoode and a Medieval Festival takes place. Events include:

Education Day—for children and chaperones (Friday)
Two-Day Event (Saturday and Sunday), including:

King’s Feast (Sat night): $45 in advance, $50 at the door (or for children: $30 in advance, $35 at the door). Enjoy great food and His Majesty’s Court Entertainment.

Other events include: Jousting, merchants, dancing, music, archery demonstrations, Merlin the Magician, puppet show, archery, blacksmith, sword fighting, armour displays, shields, the Knights of Valour jousting on horseback, merchants selling their wares, games for the children – including stilts, chess, and mini catapults, knighting ceremony, and a handfasting ceremony. [If you would like to have a real handfasting ceremony (marriage), please contact us.]

Admission to the Kingdom and the festival is a mere $5 per person (children under 4 are free) – a great bargain for the day’s activities.
